What Lies Within

Logline: Aisha stays the night at her best friend’s house, but when she is forced to face her fear of the dark, she must figure out how to conquer it in order to sleep through the night.

For my Directing course at Howard University we were assigned to direct a short film that is five minutes or less. As someone who used to be afraid of the dark, I wanted to play with the idea of how serious childhood fears could be.
